On my way to the old tree yesterday I stopped at a field belonging to the Nödesta farm to photograph these migratory birds. They have been there for a couple of days now. Looks like Whopper Swans and Canada Goose. Probably heading for the Netherlands or even Spain.

Found a Christmas tree (very 2013), at a playground in Västerhaninge yesterday. Had to shoot a selfie (very 2013). I wonder if it will still be there come Midsummer? This was a field with trees a couple of years ago. Now it is a residential area called Nedersta Trädgårdsstad next to the Nödesta farm.

The new bridge at the old Krigslida railway crossing is slowly taking shape. Shot the top photo from a wheat field at the Nödesta farm. Second photo is from a kilometre away shot from the fields around Välsta.The bridge will open for traffic later this year. Last time you saw a photo of this construction site was back in March.

Out on a bike ride on the same day that my stationary computer died, I stopped at this gravel road in Nedersta for a fun shoot with my cheap PowerShot A495. Yesterday I got the pc working again and could stitch together the photos from that day. The structure to the right is the collapsed barn I have showed you a few times.

Same scene from January has a bit more snow.

If you want to believe the meteorologists spring is now officially here. So when I noticed this digger on top of a snow mound at Nedersta Gärde this afternoon I figured it would be a good way to say goodbye to this long and cold winter.
