Stone Animals
Horrible weather yesterday. Dark and gloomy, windy and rainy. Not the best photography weather. But despite that I jumped on the bike and headed out for a spin. I tried my best in between the rain showers to get a few colorful Autumn photos, but it wasn't easy. I made one pit-stop at Eskilsparken in Handen and that's where I took this photo. Part of a group of sculptures made by PYE Engström. It is called Fåglarna i Handen. The birds in Handen, Or the birds in the hand. And despite not being birds these animals are part of the sculpture group. And just as I left the park another photographer walked in and started shooting the same sculpture.

The Tower
This sculpture is called Tornet, The Tower. Originally made by Jan Håfström. It stands in the park in Tungelsta. The kids enjoyed climbing on it a little too much so it started to fall apart. No one seemed to care much about that, but then in October of 2014 the municipality put up a fence around the sculpture and earlier in the Summer the repair work started. And then last week, nearly two years later it have been repaired. Not to it's former glory, because it looks a bit different and I don't think that the artist who created it has had any say in the repair job.

It's getting colder
He was a good dresser back in the day Ivar Lo Johansson. And it looks like he is keeping that up even after his death. This was his look today when I spotted him across the road from the grocery store in Tungelsta.
