View From A Bridge Moose Calf Moose Höstdagjämningen took place yesterday. Also known as the September equinox. I stopped at the nature park Slätmossen in Handen for a few photos and a light lunch. I always shoot the view in the first photo because, you know, you have to really. After finishing my lunch I heard a noice so I looked around to see Mama Moose and her calf joining me in the park. Because I had decided to mostly shoot macro images I didn't have the zoom lens with me so I had to make do with the nifty fifty.

Nature Park
My 52th photo of this view. Whenever I visit the nature park Slätmossen in Handen I will walk over to a little bridge and take a photo from there, and this is the view. In the slideshow you can see all fifty two photos. The first shot is a winter view from 2004.

Nicked, Burned, Dumped

Welcome to the Nature Park

I guess I should start a new Please Remove This Vehicle Campaign as the last one I did worked out fine, although it took quite some time. A little over a week ago three cars burned in Handen. Two of them at a parking lot at Tuvvägen. And on the same night this car (along with a moped), was nicked, dumped and burned at a popular path in the nature park Slätmossen, a park I often visit. I contacted the municipality and got a quick responce from a journalist working there. He informed the new landscape architect about this (the previous architect has retired, but when I visited the park yesterday, the car wreck was still there in the middle of the path, but the moped was gone!

The Not-So-Ugly Duckling

Another possible title could have been Not A Rubber Duck. Walking through the nature park in Handen yesterday I spotted this yellow duckling. The rest of the bird family looked like normal ducks, so this fuzzy yellow duckling stood out a bit.

Butt Naked

Spring Picknick

We had a warm and sunny spring day today. Everyone seemed to be out enjoying the weather and finding a nice place for a bite to eat. Like the Roe Deer at Nedersta and the two women at the Slätmossen nature park in Handen.
