1973 Charger
You need a bit of luck sometimes. I was on my way home from the motorcycle meet a few days ago, when I noticed a few cars parked on both sides on the road at the Jordbro industrial area. Normally there's never anything parked there so I decided to check it out, and I'm glad I did. Turned out to be a muscle car meet at the Shell station. Only announced via Facebook to the people interested in partaking. Around 100 muscle cars had filled up the station and people of all ages were looking, discussing, photographing or just sitting around taking it all in. Enjoy the slideshow.

The Countess
I heard a burnout. A long one. A little later I could smell the burning rubber. So I headed that way. When I spotted the car at the industrial area in Jordbro it had come to a complete stop. Two guys wearing helmets climbed out. I asked the driver if I could take a few shots. Go for it he said, I just got a flat tire! His name was Robin. He is a blacksmith who enjoys building stuff. The name of the car is Grevinnan. The Countess.

This is how we do it in Sweden
If you want to get rid of your garbage just take the car and drive a few kilometers from home before dumping it anywhere you like. The good news here is that the idiots left their address on a few papers, so the police will have an easy job to clear this up. I have sent this photo and info to the municipality and to the police.

Cro-Magnon goes for a walk
We are all related one way or another. But the individual who ordered this garden table from ÖoB might be an early version of Cro-Magnon. After unpacking his (or her), new table the trouble started. What to do with the packaging? Here's an idea, lets go for a walk. That usually helps to get the brain working. And, why not bring the waste with us? Maybe there's a litter bin nearby, that should do it. Turns out it didn't. So Cro-Magnon walked home again.

A sign of Spring? Vitsippa
I decided to take the steel horse through the nature reserve Gullringskärret yesterday. The reason for that this time was that every Spring millions of wood anemones turns the green fields and pine forest white here. It's always a spectacle to see and there's even an organized tour for people who wants to do just that. But I was a few days early and although I did find a few flowers, this was the scene that awaited me. A stolen, dumped and burned car. I reported it to the municipality and have already got two answers so I'm guessing the wreck will be gone later today.

Vitsippa
Every Spring the grave field in Jordbro turns white for a couple of weeks when the wood anemone bloom. It hasn't happened yet, but I noticed the first anemone's today. It is a spectacular Spring scene, and I know that quite a few people will travel from faraway to see it. I will of course be back for an update in a few days time.
