I chased down the police yesterday. I spotted these four guys on a bike path in Jordbro. They were a few hundred meters ahead of me so I had to bike hard to catch up with them. In an effort to make the police more visible on the streets around Stockholm, the Police commissioner Carin Götblad has decided that more officers should be out in the public rather than behind a desk. So for two weeks every year the police cancels most of their internal meetings and steps outside to meet the people. And that was the reason why

Patrik. They had been out for a few hours when I met them in Handen, and they told me that they had visited most urban areas in Haninge during their 40 km ride. So for the next few days you will see many officers out on the streets, Max said that he will have five or six officers on bicycles during the upcoming Walpurgis Night celebrations.

Jerusalem street is a short street in Riga centre, connecting Dzirnavu and Elizabetes streets. It got it's current name only in 1998, in honor to Israel's capital city.

I needed a few photos of triangles for the Theme Day tomorrow so I took the bike down to the art gallery in Österhaninge yesterday. Nice enough weather to have coffee and home-baked cake in the garden. It was actually a bit warmer than it looks here. Left the winter jacket at home, and rode my Steel Horse in a t-shirt and a sweater. On my way to the gallery I noticed a bird circling overhead, and using my Tamron at 300mm this was as close I could get of the Common Buzzard.
Seven hundred people in the park for the rock festival Trädgårdsrock. That is a lot of hamburgers.
